Because life is more exciting when you know you can finally do it.

The motivation behind this series: pick a childhood memory and mechanize it. I guess a little inspiration from Andy Warhol and Philippe Halsman wouldn't hurt, either!

See the originals here:

Jump! The First
Jump! The Second
Jump! The Third
Jump! The Fourth

Individually drawn in PaintTool SAI, then composed in Gimp 2.6.

Much appreciated! I gotta say, though...your balloon sculptures are mindblowing in their own right!

Thanks, Nick! This was quite a trial-laden piece to work on, but I'm glad you like it. :)

You're welc...wait, how do you know my real name?! Oh, it's because it says so on my profile page, never mind. It's strange, usually nobody except my closest friends refer to me as my real name online, but it's cool.

It's a habit. :p

Knowing others by face is not always feasible, so I suppose names will suffice.

Thanks, El-Bronco! The pen in SAI is wonderful for making tight, fast lineart--pretty much a favorite outside of a real pen. ;)

Thank you, David! I had a great deal of fun working on this. Nothing like a fun theme to keep it moving.
