Final exams are over. Time for recovery...
These are some of the sketches and component studies I've done in the past few months, within class and whenever I had a little free time.
I've become re-attached to Rapidograph technical pens despite their high maintenance requirements. The consistent lines they can produce and the "fast" feeling are simply astounding, especially with the smallest tips. It's been a lot of fun experimenting with loose and tight methods; perhaps there's a middle ground where I can finally settle upon...
And oh yes, I really like the Five Star Stories manga series--particularly their Mortar Headd designs! Take a look at them; maybe you'll find some inspiration from Mamoru Nagano's chivalrous universe too.
