Tutorial - 2-Point Perspective

Description

Original name: "Draw Simple Buildings Using 2-Point Perspective"

Formerly an assignment for a technical writing class over Summer 2008. Instead of letting it collect dust on my hard drive, here it is for you all, long overdue for a dA post.

This 8.7MB PDF guide is for anyone who wants a basic, no-frills tutorial on creating 3D structures in 2-point perspective. Print it out and share it with your friends; it's totally free and it'll remain free for noncommercial use. Okay....there are a couple of definition errors on what 2-point perspective exactly is (Wikipedia term: [link]), but I hope you all can find something useful anyway!

Pencil and drafting tools on standard 8.5" x 11" printer paper; Nikon D80 with the stock 18-105mm lens; Faststone Image Viewer 3.5 (minor edits); GIMP 2.5; MS Word 2000 (for layouts; old, but reliable); doPDF v5.
